About Us

Our family (Christine, John, James & Sam Bennett) moved to Burgate Farmhouse in 1987.
Prior to this, we ran a restaurant business in Poole, Dorset. Our sons were aged 6 & 4 at the time & we felt that this would be a better life for them.
Sadly, my husband, died in 1991 but we continued to live here & run the business. My sons have now 'flown the nest' (James lives in New Zealand with his wife & their 2 little daughters. Sam lives in Surrey with his wife). I still enjoy welcoming visitors to Burgate Farmhouse for self catering holidays & take delight in sharing this very special Grade II listed farmhouse with lots of guests.

I have now achieved 11 consecutive years of TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence/Travellers Choice awards.

Costa Del Sol

I also own a 2 bedroomed apartment at Riviera del Sol on the Costa del Sol which is available to let for holidays or longer winter stays.

It is between Fuengirola & Marbella - 25 mins from Malaga airport.
