Wishing Well

Sleeps 6

Wishing Well sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms in a self catering cottage wing. The entrance from the courtyard leads into the kitchen, fully equipped with full sized electric cooke & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave etc . There is a breakfast bar with 4 stools. A sliding door separates the kitchen from the cosy beamed sitting/dining room.

About

There is a 'Smart' TV with Freeview, DVD player & a radio/CD player. There are 2 sofas + a stool + several bean bags which are often preferred by small children. The dining table seats 6.  There is an extra WC downstairs just inside the entrance door (access is not ideal but it is useful for children). Stairs lead from the kitchen up to the 3 bedrooms, bathroom & toilet. The large master bedroom has a double bed & single bed* & an extra colour TV with Freeview & DVD player. (NB this master bedroom is accessed through the 2nd bedroom). The 2nd bedroom is twin-bedded (1 double & 1 single*) In between these 2 rooms there is a large walk-in wardrobe.

Both of these rooms have lovely original beams. The 3rd bedroom along the corridor is smaller with a sloped ceiling and has pine bunk beds (full size with ‘proper’ mattresses). The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a washbasin. There is a wall heater & an electric towel rail. Wishing Well is ideally suited for family accommodation.

(* The extra single bed in the Master Bedroom & the double bed in the twin room means that there are actually beds for 8 people. These extra beds are intended to give flexibility over sleeping arrangements.  They are not intended to increase the sleeping capacity.  This is because space in the sitting/dining room is better suited for 6 and there is only 1 bathroom).

If your party includes several children then 7 people would probably be OK, especially as the kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools for 4. Outside of the entrance door, there is a patio table & chairs. On the nearby lawn, there is a wooden picnic bench & swing seat..
